July 31 Cupcakes!

This week, there will be 5 new flavors! It is so hard to decide what to bring and narrow it down. Make sure if there is something you want that you request it. You don't want to show up and it not be there!

The flavors this week are:
Cotton Candy
Spice with cinnamon brown sugar cream cheese buttercream
Strawberry & Cream
Key Lime
Cinnamon Almond
Blackberry
Pineapple
Tiramisu
Coconut Snowball
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut
Chai Latte
Maple Bacon
Red Velvet
German Chocolate
Chocolate Coconut Snowball
Mocha Cream
"The Original" Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Nutella
Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip
Triple Chocolate
Salted Chocolate Caramel
And, as always...chocolate, vanilla, and yellow cake

There will be peanut butter pupcakes for the doggies too. Make sure you stop by and buy a box so you can use your loyalty card. If you don't have one yet, make sure you come and get one. You can earn a FREE cupcake!

There may be some other flavors coming too, but I won't know for sure until I start baking. Hope to see you at the Binford Farmer's Market Saturday!

July 17th Market

Thanks to everyone who came to the market on Saturday. It was a beautiful morning, and lots of people came to get cupcakes! Unfortunately, we will not be at the market on Saturday, July 17th, so there will be no flavors to post.

But, do not panic if you can't go without our cupcakes! If you still want some or need them for an event or party, you can order them, and we will deliver them to the market so you can pick them up there. Terry, who works at the honey booth next to Confectioneiress, was nice enough to offer to take care of any orders for us. Be sure to tell him thank you when you pick up your cupcakes and check out his booth...we love their honey. So, if you cannot go almost 2 weeks without cupcakes, send me an e-mail as soon as possible, and I will have them there waiting for you all boxed up. The great part is....you get to tell me exactly what you want!

We will be back with lots of cupcakes and more new flavors on July 24th. I am also working on mini cupcakes for dogs that we will call "pupcakes" so if you have a dog, be sure to look for those. In addition, we will be bringing loyalty cards so all of you that come every weekend and buy the boxes of cupcakes can get free cupcakes. More on that to come soon.

Thanks again for all of your support and for coming to get cupcakes. We will miss being at the market, but we hope that we can still send some cupcakes for anyone who needs them. And remember, if there is a flavor you want us to bring back or one that you would love for us to have, just let us know.

Enjoy your cupcakes from this weekend :)

July 10 Cupcake Flavors!

I am having a harder time each week figuring out what cupcake flavors to bring and which ones not to. I want to bring new ones, but at the same time, I don't want to not bring ones that people want and expect. So, if there is a cupcake that you definitely want, then please let me know! As of right now, I have been told to bring the Coconut Snowball and the Key Lime every week. Also, if there is a flavor that you want me to create, I would be glad to do so. I sometimes get bored with making the same ones, and I am always up for a challenge.

With that said, I have come up with my list for this week. The flavors will be:
- Espresso Toffee
- Truffled Chocolate Walnut
- Red Velvet
- Root Beer Float (new and improved this week!)
- Chocolate Covered Pretzel (new and improved!)
- Raspberry Cream Truffle
- The Original Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- Chocolate Mint
- Nutella
- Triple Chocolate
- Turtle
- Chocolate with Vanilla Buttercream
- Raspberry Cream (new and improved!)
- Peaches & Cream
- Cotton Candy (kid's favorite!)
- Salted Pecan Caramel
- Key Lime
- Carrot Cake
- Butterscotch (was told this was the BEST cupcake I make last week!)
- Banana Split
- Cherry Cheesecake
- Coconut Snowball
- Vanilla with Vanilla Buttercream
- Vanilla with Chocolate Buttercream
- Yellow Cake with Chocolate Buttercream

Hope to see you this weekend at the farmer's market. Start your weekend off with cupcakes! The weather is supposed to be great. Be sure to follow us on Facebook too. You can stay up to date on blog posts, see what others are saying about the cupcakes, and tell us what you think!

Have a great week and we hope to see you soon :)

Chelsea's 16th Birthday

I had the honor of making my oldest niece Chelsea's birthday cake for her party. She was turning 16...I cannot believe she is growing up so fast! I have no idea where the time went. To me, she should still be 5 years old and running around with pigtails.

She loves zebra print and the color purple so it was not hard for her to decide what she wanted on her cake. I think she did a fantastic job coming up with the design, and it fits her perfectly. I had a lot of fun making it for her and it was an honor that she chose me to make it. I think I asked too many questions and bugged her sometimes. But, I blame that on her being a teenager...they are supposed to be annoyed sometimes. Plus, I wanted it to be just perfect so I had to check on the details! My older sister (Chelsea's mom) thought she would be funny and blamed it on me getting old :)

Just wanted to share something other than cupcakes!
